RBS WorldPay Now Offers Discover Network Card Settlement, Providing a Single Point of Contact for Transactions

Atlanta, GA - RBS WorldPay, the US payment processing division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, has completed integration and rollout of direct Discover Network card processing, providing customers with a single point of contact with their Discover transactions. RBS Lynk entered into the agreement with Discover Financial Services LLC, a business unit of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) in mid-September, making it the second payment processor to implement and market such an agreement with Discover and the second to go live with processing capability.

RBS WorldPay will offer an integrated payment card processing package in November that includes Discover Network card acceptance, becoming one of the first to offer this new service to merchants.

The three year agreement with RBS WorldPay, a global provider of electronic payment processing services, will allow Retail Pro® to offer a technologically-advanced embedded payment solution with support for credit, debit, check, gift, loyalty and more. The new solution will be available this fall for users of both RetailPro 8-series and 9-series versions of the Company's software.
