Atlanta, GA – September 3, 2009 - RBS
WorldPay today announced a new partnership with Arsenal Security Group,
Inc., for a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance program. This program
is designed to assist RBS WorldPay merchants to comply with PCI
standards and avoid the loss or exposure of cardholder data.
The leading Card Associations require that any merchant that accepts
electronic payments adhere to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Any merchant that stores, processes or transmits cardholder data must
complete a self-assessment questionnaire or have an on-site assessment
conducted by a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). Vulnerability scans
can also be required each quarter. With Arsenal’s program, RBS WorldPay
merchants may submit their self-assessment questionnaire and conduct
their mandatory vulnerability scans directly through the Arsenal portal.
“Our approach to security and PCI DSS is to help protect our merchants,
provide access to the best technology, and truly be our merchants
advocate,” said LeAnn Brown, vice president and head of PCI Merchant
Compliance for RBS WorldPay. “We are convinced that Arsenal Security
Group can provide our merchants with a dedicated risk management program
that includes merchant training, on-going communication and the
individual attention each of our merchant’s deserves.”
In addition to the questionnaire and vulnerability scans, Arsenal
Security Group will provide proprietary SmartSearch™Technology, which
can identify if a merchant is improperly storing cardholder data,
determine if they are using a PCI compliant payment application and
check for vendor default passwords. They also offer remediation support
for merchants who are non-compliant in a quick and efficient manner.
“We are excited to partner with an organization like RBS WorldPay,” said
Mark Lippman, founding partner of Arsenal Security Group. “As one of the
premier payment processors in the US, RBS WorldPay is providing access
to easy to use PCI DSS compliance solutions for thousands of merchants.
Arsenal’s compliance management technology, automated process and
dedicated customer support team underscore the robust and streamlined
service RBS WorldPay merchants can expect.”
